Message-ID: Attention Parents of budding writers and/or lovers of their teachers! We are collecting stories, poems or any type of writing about their teachers from students in grades 1-8. It can be any length and any genre. We will select one from each class to be read at the teacher/staff appreciation luncheon. The writings that are not chosen will be put into a book for the teacher. This is an extra to the luncheon that we thought would add a special element for the teachers. The kids will read their work while everyone is eating. Please submit your works for consideration to the Grammar school office in the envelope labeled ?Writings for the Teacher Appreciation luncheon? We will make a selection by Friday June 11th and have permission slips to be filled out. Children will be transported from school to Manursing by volunteer parents and pick up will be at 2:00. While this is not a fundraiser for the School or the PTO, and parents are not required to use this method, they now have the opportunity to order their children?s school supplies through this vendor if they choose. Through Supplies To Please, parents can now buy personalized kits customized by grade and gender, which contain all the school supplies required by each class/teacher for the upcoming school year. The kits will include all of the exact supplies from the teacher?s lists posted on the school?s website and will consist of only durable, name-brand products. In the 2nd and 3rd grades where the lists vary by teacher, a ?basic package? based on the items common across all the lists is offered. (Please note, parents of students in the 2nd and 3rd grades will still need to purchase additional supplies based upon their child?s teacher?s supplies list.) The completed packages are shipped directly to each family via UPS well in advance of the first day of school. In the event of a product defect, Supplies To Please will promptly correct the problem and replace the item at their expense. And, the cost of the supplies when purchased from Supplies to Please is less then the retail price. To purchase school supplies through Supplies To Please, print out and complete the order form attached to this e-mail or you can also find it on the Resurrection School website under the "Summer Reading List and Supplies" tab, submit a check payable to Supplies To Please before June 30th.
