Earlier this year the PTO announced that the grade to achieve the highest level of participation in the 2010-2011 Annual Fund Campaign would receive a special prize from Mr. Nielsen. It might be a movie, a party, a special day - it will surely be something bigger than a N.U.T. (although the valued N.U.T. might be a part of the prize)! As of now, the eighth grade participation is the highest, at 85%, and is in the lead for 1st place. There is a four-way tie going on - 1st grade, 4th grade, 5th grade and 6th grade are all at 78%. The 3rd grade at 73% and 7th grade at 70% are close behind. The participation count will be extended until Monday, June 6th, so the winning grades can be identified. After Monday, Mr. Nielsen will announce the 1st and 2nd place winning grades and disclose his special prize to them. Which grades will reach 100% participation? When the Resurrection School Foundation launched the Annual Fund Campaign, the message to all school parents was simple... 'Please participate in the Annual Fund at any level that works for you, but please PARTICIPATE!' An important aspect of an Annual Fund is to have consistent growth in participation. Last year we ended the Annual Fund with a 70% participation level. We are currently at 65% participation from school parents. Our goal is to achieve 100% participation from our school families. Thank you to all who have already participated!
